Kent Alarms are now installing as standard high specification digital cameras. Our cameras have 2.4 Megapixel cameras and have the option of a fixed 3.6mm or a vari-focal lens. These give high quality images and have excellent night vision with the aid of the built in LED lighting. The Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is pre-installed with a 1TB to 8TB Purple hard drive depending on your system and budget. Ideally you should be able to retain at least two weeks footage.
As from Monday 29th June all new CCTV installations will now incorporate High Specification Digital cameras. These will be available as small dome cameras with a 1.3MP lens and a 20m range on the infra-red lighting up to a 2.4MP lens and a 30m range on the infra red lighting. Our website is currently being updated with these new cameras. You can see the difference in picture quality in these pictures.
